Project Manager - Event Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Project Manager – Eventto lead the planning, coordination, and execution of high-impact events from concept through completion.
This role requires excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders to deliver successful events on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines, budgets, staffing, and logistics for each event.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Source and negotiate with vendors, manage contracts, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and partners.
Team Coordination: Coordinate cross-functional teams, assign responsibilities, monitor progress, and ensure team alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Budget Management: Develop and oversee event budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and tracking expenses against forecasts.
On-site Event Management: Lead on-site setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring smooth operations and resolving issues in real-time.
Marketing & Communications Support: Collaborate with marketing to ensure consistent branding, promotion, and communications before, during, and after events.
Post-event Reporting: Evaluate event success through post-event analysis, gather feedback, and produce reports with actionable insights.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.3+ years of proven experience in project or event management.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, MS Project).
Experience managing budgets and timelines.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to change.
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
Preferred Qualifications Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) or Event Planning (CMP, CSEP).
Experience in virtual and hybrid event planning.
