Provide desktop technical support covering : MS Windows / MS Office 365. / End Users Applications

Understands elements of End-to-End Systems Engineering from Concept development, design, testing, and deployment.

Data centre monitoring and management including, cooling system, fire system, networking and servers.

Servers monitoring and configuration management.

Network performance monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Threat monitoring and ensure that the design and architecture of the network is in line Information Security policies.

Track spare equipment and highlight any need for extra spare in due time.

Follow-up with hardware suppliers for warranty and support.

Track reported problems and associated solutions.

Record of daily data communication problems and remedial action taken.

Investigate and resolve problems and to provide technical assistance and support.

Follow-up daily cases and ensure that the required actions are taken

Maintain and trouble shoot computer hardware, software and network related problems

Document reported problems and associated solutions

Tracks and follows up priority calls

Executes tasks in the following areas: change request, trouble ticket, routine operation and maintenance, and server build.

Resolving Trouble Tickets

Maintaining server rooms

Restoring file and data information

Performing operating system software updates/upgrades

Monitoring/supporting server backups

Coordinating server installations

Assisting in server maintenance and special projects, during extended work hours

Performing server and storage capacity planning for complex and critical systems

Recommend and plan server recapitalization.

Perform server performance tuning.

Baselines and forecasts server performance data and tunes server hardware and software configurations.

Utilize system software to monitor the performance of system files; manages system data to maintain performance efficiencies

Conducting server diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems and to provide technical assistance and support

Investigate and resolve problems end users raised issued and to provide the needed technical assistance and support.

Desktop and laptop basic hardware support.

Manage File Sharing operations
