• Act as Centre of Excellence that provides support to delivery teams at project level in the areas of quantity surveying (measurement, pricing), as needed.• Oversees that the provision of quantity surveying services are delivered in accordance with the standards and international industry practice.• Acts as an escalation point for technical related quantity surveying issues.• Provides functional oversight of all F&E inhouse Quantity Surveyors (if required).• Review and approves all cost related submissions from the PMC and outsourced consultants.• Reviews and approves costing of value engineering proposals.• Provides technical approval of variations (measurement and cost only) and liaises with A&P.• Provides technical approval on interim payment certificates and liaises with A&P. Education• Bachelors/ Masters/ Ph D in Quantity Surveying or Engineering or Construction or equivalent. Experience• 10+ years of experience with quantity surveying in an Engineering & Construction environment.
