**Main Objectives**
Enhance efficiency in operations by physically executing storing activities. Ensure timely completion of receipt, checking, and storage of various fast-moving items within the organization. Store and preserve stock items for issuance. Ensure completion of assigned activities as per timelines and defined quality standards.
**Main Duties**
- Use process knowledge to ensure implementation of set guidelines.
- Seek inputs from seniors to ensure smooth functioning.
- Receive and store materials as per requirement (in bins and pallets).
- Physically issue stock items against accurate documentation; these include job card number, stock codes, quantity, description etc...
- Physically ensure storage of items as per locations and climatic conditions to preserve against damage / corrosion.
- Liaise with user departments to ensure delivery of materials and receipt of these for accurate charging against overheads.
- Prepare and update storage referencing system to ensure maximum use of storage space and easy location.
- Maintain and update files and documentation pertaining to storekeeping (GRN, store requisitions etc.).
- Conduct physical verifications of stock levels, reconcile actual figures against documents and investigate and report to seniors in case of any discrepancies.
- Execute timely issuance of items required against requisitions and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with user departments and Purchase section to ensure timely availability of items as per minimum stock levels required.
- Regular stock taking to map figures against actual issues to prevent wastage and misuse
- Physically deliver heavy equipment to concerned units and maintain records for these
- Key point of contact for seniors for updates on stock items status and queries.
- Execute efficiency in handling stock keeping measures through adherence of strict quality standards established and in compliance with procedures
- Seek inputs from superiors, identify discrepancies/escalations if any, and investigate and report accordingly to seniors.
- Implement processes and policies related to the warehousing section to ensure the operational efficiency of the unit.
- Comply with the Company and Airport authorities’ health, safety, and security regulations.
**Minimum Requirements**
**Education**:
Completion of Secondary (12 years) education.
**Experience**:
1-3 years experience in a similar role / position.
