Join us. Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
As a Structural Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of our construction projects throughout the region.
Conduct thorough inspections of structural elements in various construction projects to ensure compliance with contract documents, local building codes, and safety standards Review and interpret complex technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents Perform on-site supervision and quality control checks, documenting observations, measurements, and test results Monitor contractor activities, manpower, and equipment usage on a daily basis Coordinate with other teams to verify the quality and quantity of work performed by contractors Process incoming inspection requests and technical submittals efficiently Prepare detailed reports on structural integrity, potential issues, and recommended solutions Ensure adherence to health and safety measures on construction sites Conduct site measurements and surveying checks as required Collaborate with the Resident Engineer and Assistant Resident Engineer to address any structural concerns or deviations from plans Stay updated on the latest structural inspection techniques, building codes, and industry best practices Qualifications Diploma in Engineering (required), preferably in Civil or Structural Engineering Minimum 15 years of experience in construction supervision with a consultancy, focusing on structural inspection Extensive knowledge of structural engineering principles, construction methods, and materials Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents Strong understanding of quality control and quality assurance procedures in construction Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia Experience with site supervision, inspection techniques, and documentation practices Proficiency in relevant software tools for structural inspection and reporting Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail Strong communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Willingness to work on-site in various weather conditions and adhere to safety protocols Valid certification in structural inspection or related field (preferred)Additional Information About AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
